Events The Albanian Council on Foreign Relations has organized in partnership with other organizations the following events: In the framework of Security and Foreign Policy Forum the event entitled “Albania as a new member of NATO: Perspectives and Challenges”, was organized in cooperation with the Albanian Institute for International Studies on March 30th, 2009. The Keynote Speaker of the event was H. E. Mr. Bamir Topi, President of the Republic of Albania. Albanian Council on Foreign Relations in cooperation with the Albanian Institute for International Studies did organize on October 5th, 2009 the promotion of the Albanian translation of the book “Blue Planet in Green Shackles” of H. E. Mr. Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, who honored the event with his presence. The event “Albanian Foreign Policy- Continuity through Changes” in cooperation with Albanian Institute of International Studies was organized on October 26th, 2009. Keynote speaker of the event was H.E. Ilir Meta, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Albanian Council on Foreign Relations organized on February 5th, 2010, the event entitled “Priorities of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union; Challenges for the Western Balkans and Albania”. Keynote speaker of the event was H. E. Mr. Manuel Montobbio, Ambassador of Spain in Tirana. In the framework of the Summer School on "Security Studies for Journalists", Albanian Council on Foreign Relations in cooperation with the NATO Public Diplomacy Division organized on June 22nd, 2010 the conference on “NATO, Albania and Security Issues in the Region”. The keynote speaker of the event was H.E. Mr. Arben Imami, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Albania. Foreign Policy Forum with H. E. Mr. Edmond Haxhinasto,Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, 20th of December 2010. Foreign Policy Forum with Croatian Secretary of State, H. E. Mr. Mario Nobilo, organized on 24th of February 2011, in cooperation with the Diplomatic Academy, Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Policy Forum “Australia and Albania in a changing world” with H. E. Mr. Roger Jeremy Newman, Australian Ambassador to Greece, Bulgaria and Albania, 2nd of March 2011. Foreign Policy Forum with H.E. Alexander A. Arvizu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the Republic of Albania , 13th of April 2011. National Conference on “Transparency in financing of Albanian Political Parties”, with the support of US Embassy to Tirana, 23 March 2011.

Events

The Albanian Council on Foreign Relations has organized in partnership with other organizations the following events:

In the framework of Security and Foreign Policy Forum the event entitled “Albania as a new member of NATO: Perspectives and Challenges”, was organized in cooperation with the Albanian Institute for International Studies on March 30th, 2009.
